Every time we listen to the news, check the web, or turn on the televison these days, we hear about the economy. Most experts seem to agree that it's picking up, but it's going to be a long, slow haul back to what it once was. Reports from the dental industry indicate that many patients are putting on the brakes for getting the dental treatments that are needed to keep them in optimal health. That's too bad, because putting off dental cleanings or not addressing treatments when dental disease and decay is at it's early stages can result in affecting patients' overall systemic health. In addition, ignoring dental care often leads to the need for more involved - and expensive - emergency treatments in the future. At the Centre for Distinctive Dentistry, we are concerned about helping our patients find a way to work dental health into their budget by making their dentistry more affordable. In order to encourage our patients who may have either lost their insurance or never had insurance to keep up with their dental health needs, I developed a Distinctive Smile Program to help with the monetary concerns patients may have. For those who have insurance or choose not to participate in the Distinctive Smile Program, we also offer Care Credit for monthly payment plans, and special savings for payments made with cash or your credit card.
